Being Church Wherever We Are (Ephesians 2:8-10)

Being Church Wherever We Are (Ephesians 2:8-10)

Our second-Sunday service this month was lead by Rachel Crossley, with a talk by Becki Porter on the theme of “Being Church Wherever We Are”. This is the opening talk of our new sermon series, “God on the Front Line”.
The service was broadcast live on Facebook at 11am on Sunday 14th June 2020.

As Christians, we are all frontline workers. […]
What are you going to do this week to recognise that you are God’s frontline worker?

“I’m going to change the world; I’m just not sure how!”
Jesus tells us the answer: Love is the answer: “little people living out big love,” as Kid President puts it.

A closing prayer:
“I expect to pass through this world but once. Any good thing, therefore, that I can do, or any kindness that I can show …, let me do it now, let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.  Amen”
