Today’s sermon is about our personal relationship with Jesus Christ and the spreading of the gospel:
– from person to person
– from generation to generation
– from culture to culture.
If each of us manages, during our lifetime, to help just two people to come to know Jesus Christ, the Church will double in size!
The Gospel reading (John 4) is about living water, but sometimes we don’t feel as ‘quenched’ as we had imagined we would do or as we used to. Why is this? Hear all about it in today’s sermon.
“As we become like Jesus – as we learn endurance, as we learn to love, as we learn to sacrifice, as we learn generosity – we will find the deepest fulfilment in our lives that nothing else can ever bring. And therefore we will never thirst again because He is working in us to help us to become like Him.”
