We encourage everyone to join a Home Group, an informal group where people meet together for fellowship, Bible discussion and prayer. We view these groups as the place where our relationship with God (and each other!) is worked out in practice.
For much of the year most groups study questions relating to the Sunday Sermons, so that the whole church can grow more deeply together. They meet in people’s houses on weekday evenings, and some meet during the day.
Small groups are there to support and encourage us in our faith through the week. They are also a great way of getting to know people in the church, through the sharing of our faith and life.
Each group has a different character, and we hope you will find one to suit you. The vicar or our home group co-ordinator Liz Leake may suggest a group that would be suitable for you.
Home groups are there for the support and encouragement of their members, and include social activities as well as holy ones!
We also encourage church members to be involved in prayer partnerships – even smaller groups of 2 or 3, where a deeper level of support, encouragement and accountability is made possible.
Some Home Groups are listed below, but there are plenty of others meeting at different times with different characters. For more information please contact our main church email.
