To mark the start of Advent, join our walk from St Stephen’s, Fawcett St, Netherthorpe Sheffield S3 7PL to St Bart’s, Primrose Hill, Langsett, S6 2UW.


3rd to 5th December
Christmas Tree Festival | St Tim’s

Come and wander among our forest of Christmas trees, beautifully decorated by local groups and businesses.

Friday 3rd, 3pm to 9.30pm,
Sat 4th, 10am to 4pm, with Santa’s Grotto from 11am to 3pm
Sun 5th, 2pm to 4pm. Closing festival carol service and prize giving 4pm to 4.45pm

Make a donation

The Christmas Tree Festival is run by, and raises money for, The Tuesday Social Club – a weekly drop in support group for adults. A safe place for people to come to chat, play games and share a two course meal together.


Sunday 12th December
10.30am Nativity Service | St Tim’s

An all age service for the whole family. Children (and grown ups!) are welcome to come dressed as a nativity character!

6pm Christingle Service | St Tim’s

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

Come and join us for an immersive and engaging experience filled with contemporary music, drama and dance, as we make space to reflect on the message of light, hope and love that Jesus brings.


Sunday 19th December
6pm,Carol service | St Tim’s

Raise your voice to sing some wonderful carols, led by our worship team. We’ll be singing to celebrate the birth of Jesus and hearing the story of how God came to live among us.


Wednesday 22nd December
Beer and Carols | Location tbc


Christmas Eve
3pm, Crib service | St Tim’s

Hear the nativity story in this creative retelling of Jesus’s birth.

At the service, after we have sung songs and heard stories, we like to unwrap the figures together and arrange our Nativity scene in the stable.

11pm, Midnight communion | St Tim’s

A service of reflection and waiting as we welcome Christmas Day, a day of celebration for the birth of our saviour, Jesus Christ.
