Ascension - vallaton

St John writes, “We love because God first loved us” (1 John 4.19).

St Paul writes: “Christ died for all that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for him who for their sakes died and was raised”. (2 Corinthians 5.15)

Worship is the source: The more we are inspired by Jesus in worship, the more we will be motivated to live like him and for him.

Worship is the expression: Living for Jesus – at work, at home, in the world, at Church – is how we express our worship, our love for him.

Worship is therefore vital to all that we seek to do for God at St Tim’s: We encourage everyone to spend time alone with God in worship, prayer and Bible reading, to deepen their relationship with Jesus. But worshipping together is central to God’s plan for our lives so that we can encourage each other and build our faith.
