Sunday services are a key part of our church life. Coming together for worship, fellowship and teaching is an enormous encouragement in seeking to live as Christians, Monday to Friday.

We celebrate diversity in every aspect of church life, and with a variety of styles of music and liturgy at St Tim’s. Most people find they can meet with God in some way.

You can find details of this term’s services and listen to our sermon recordings. The evening teaching is based on the lectionary readings.

9.30 am (Traditional)

A one-hour service aiming to be peaceful and reverent. Holy Communion & Morning Prayer on alternate Sundays. (But there is no 9.30 service on Parade Service Sundays or major festivals)

11.00 am (Informal)

An informal and lively all-age service which includes a section where younger people have separate teaching and worship. Music and liturgy reflect modern as well as more traditional streams. Words are projected on a screen. Holy Communion is on alternate Sundays.

A monthly Family Service is attended by our Uniformed Organisations and is led by various groups (young people stay in throughout the service).

See information about the teaching programme for this month.

6.30 pm

An informal service which we hope particularly for it to be attractive to young adults or those young at heart! All are welcome and we would love to see you.

On Wednesdays we meet at 12.00pm in the Side Chapel, for a short, informal Service of Holy Communion, followed by the Over-60s Lunch Club in the Community Hall.
