Church Weekend Away

Jonas Centre, Redmire, Wensleydale, 5th -7th March 2010

Once again we will be at the Jonas Centre in the North Yorkshire Dales, and we are very pleased to welcome retired bishop David Hallatt to be our Speaker. 

The accommodation will be as last time, at the centre.  There is Bed and Breakfast accommodation in the village, and a Youth Hostel nearby, so if you want to go for the comfy option, contact Diane Ryan straight away so that we can book on your behalf.

 The nature of the accommodation, as well as our relaxed programme, make it possible for people to join in as much – or as little – as they like. Children have good facilities to play, and they will have their own special programme.

Our aim is to have a holiday together in which we are able to enjoy individual rest and relaxation, as well as fellowship and encouragement for us all as a church family.

We would particularly like to encourage those who have not been before to join us as we believe the weekend will be even better if we have your company!  Ask someone who’s been before, or see the link to the Jonas Centre website.

 The options for accommodation this year are as follows:

1. Log cabins on site, as last year. These cabins are comfortable, self-catering units sleeping 5-7 people each.  (There are also sofa beds in the lounges, so some extra squishing-in is possible).  Cots and high chairs are available on request.
2. Bed and Breakfast accommodation (very comfortable!) in the village.
3. Youth Hostel about 5 miles away

Every attempt will be made to accommodate preferences and arrangements will be discussed with everyone prior to the weekend.
