St Timothy's Church, Crookes, Sheffield

Welcome to St Tim’s

We’re a local church community, with people of all ages and backgrounds, running a wide range of activities throughout the week in addition to our Sunday Worship.

Our passion is to build a growing church energised by God’s love in a troubled world. Our logo is a harbour lighthouse; God has helped us find safe harbour – we hope we can help others do the same!

To enable this we have different adults and children’s ministries growing the life of our church community, and others reaching into the wider community.

If you are new to Sheffield, new to the area, or simply looking for a church, you’re very welcome to try us out. Come and join us at any of our three Sunday services, or at Wednesday communion held in the Side Chapel at 12.00pm. To get a flavour of the sermons, listen to a recording.

Harvest Lunch at St Tim’s

The Church Centre is open Tuesday to Friday mornings, so come and have a look round, or join us for a coffee and cake at our Friday Cafe, 3pm to 6pm during term time.

You can see the church on Google Street View:

Slum Survivor!

On Saturday and Sunday July 9th & 10th the young people of St Timothy’s are going to build and live in a makeshift dwelling for 24 hours. They will build their ‘home’ on the front space of St Timothy’s Church and collect their water from a local tap!

The idea is for them to experience, in part, what it is like to live in a Slum and survive on basic food and no comforts. Electronic devices will not be allowed and, as well as walking a distance to collect water, there will be other challenges to face.

This will be a sponsored event to support and raise awareness of the work of ASHA, a charity working in the slums of Delhi. If you would like to find out more or to sponsor the event call 0114 266 1745 or 07855752581
